Process

From first call to residence card

We check your contract, salary and degree or experience against the Blue Card rules – and compare it with the other routes.

Diploma evaluation by Nuffic where needed, legalised documents and the employer’s paperwork. Start early – legalisation can take months.

The employer files the application, together with the MVV entry visa if your nationality needs one.

The IND decides within 90 days, usually much faster with a recognised sponsor. We follow up on any questions from the IND.

Collect the MVV at the embassy, travel, pick up your residence card, register at the municipality and – if required – take the TB test.
